Orient Land Trust/ Valley View Hot Springs

The Valley View Hot Springs is located about 2 hours north of Alamosa, CO.  The setting is overlooking the valley and the company operates everything off grid.  They are making some changes and would like to hear from you.

Please send your ideas for the survey

OLT is creating a survey to facilitate communication within the Orient Land Trust community and optimize resources and we need your help!   The results of the survey will help the board and staff to better know what the OLT community feels are topics important to the future of OLT.  This information will help us better plan the future of the OLT.

We are asking each of you to spend some valuable time to give us your ideas about topics and/or questions of importance to the OLT community.

Possible questions could relate to conservation projects, site planning and projects for Valley View Hot Springs or Everson Ranch, visitor services, general ambiance, etc.  Please let us know what you feel should be explored.

We will collect these suggestions and create a survey with the most prevalent and important issues.  We will then distribute that survey back to you.

To give you a broad framework within which to work, here is the OLT mission and guiding principles within which OLT must always function:

“Orient Land Trust is a nonprofit land trust dedicated to the preservation of natural and biological resources, agricultural lands, wildlife habitat, open space, and historic and geologic features of the northern San Luis Valley for the enjoyment of current and future generations.”

You can read more about the mission and the guiding principles at www.olt.org/mission.htm.

Please send your suggested questions and topics to workingtogether@olt.org before December 31, 2010.  The survey itself is scheduled to be conducted from February 15 through March 31, 2011.

Thank you so much for your help!
